Senior Developer / Team Leader

Sheung Wang, Hong Kong

AEM is currently seeking a guiding light to join our team.

The role requires either:

  • A senior developer that is seeking to make the next step to leading teams, or

  • A developer that is already a team leader.

By joining our team, you will have be leading a team that is developing ground-breaking technologies set to disrupt exploration and asset management in remote, harsh environments > think, space and the ocean depths.

Responsibilities

Manage utilising SCRUM / Agile principles

Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews and product backlog sessions

Assist with design, and prepare documentation

Manage the team on-site in HCMC, Viet Nam

Challenges

Inspiring the team to innovate and think out of the box

Guide the team to find solutions to challenges

Be the primary motivator for the team

Must Have

Self motivated and goal orientated

Solid understanding of good software design principles

Enjoys working with people

Excellent communication skill

Experience with either python or 2+ Languages

  • Database:       PostgreSQL with PostGIS
  • Back-end:       We love coding in Python following PEP8 pythonic practices
  • Frameworks:  VueJS and Odoo (v9 and v12)
  • Front-end:      HTML5 / CSS3 / JS / Jquery / Bootstrap
